Floodra was born from this flood.

The name itself is a fusion—fusing the Latin word for a rising tide, fluctus, with the untamed, deep currents of memory. It was conceived not to sanitize or escape our feelings, but to build a beautiful, high-contrast, and acoustically alive sanctuary. A place where our emotional waves are honored, given stable pathways, and welcomed without judgment.

Our journey is structured into three sacred movements:

  • Data Storage & Protection: All profile data and written entries are stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is accessible only to you.
  • Data Retention & Deletion: Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active. You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting our support team directly at [email protected], and we will purge all records within 48 hours.

  • Anonymity Option: You do not need to sign up with an email or use your real name to use Floodra. If you choose to create a key to save your notes, it is kept private.
